Improved InstallationThe Install Manager now supports upgrading from 11.0.43 or later to 11.0.49 by enabling or updating Active Directory authentication during the install and modifying the installations of all Dentrix Enterprise components. Changes to OHS Survey (for IHS facilities only)There have been several changes to survey questions, which can be selected automatically based on information found in clinical notes. NPIRS Enhancements (for IHS facilities only)You can now require Current Community, Indian Blood Quantum, Tribe of Membership Code, and/or Beneficiary Classification Code when creating patient records in the Family File. Medical Health History Assessments (for IHS facilities only)Changes have been made so that the Dental Patient Assessment can remain open even if other modules are closed. There is also a confirmation message if you have not finished one patient’s assessment and try to open one for another patient. Additionally, selections are saved as you progress through the assessment, with a green checkmark appearing to mark your progress. For additional enhancements, see the Software Updates page. |
UB04 Claims EnhancementsFor both medical and dental claims, if UB04 is selected as the Claim Format, a Do Not Include Dental Diagnostic Code checkbox is now available. When selected, diagnostic codes do not appear on claims. Additionally, if UB04 is selected as the Claim Format, the Send Rate Code with Claim checkbox is selected, and a rate code is selected, the description “Rate Code” and the specified rate code now appear in boxes 43 and 44 on claims. |
Deleting Linked Automatic Credit AdjustmentsWhen a completed procedure is deleted, any linked automatic credit adjustment (write-off) is also deleted, and the patient’s balance is updated. Additionally, when the status of a completed procedure is changed to anything other than “Completed,” any linked automatic credit adjustment is deleted. |
Access Past Statements from More InformationWhen patients have a question, or a dispute, about a past statement, waste no time finding the statement with Dentrix Enterprise 11.0.2. The new Billing tab in the More Information window is your gateway to past printed statements that you can view and print again as needed. |
Improved Control of ReferralsWith Dentrix Enterprise 11.0.2 you can now create up to 99 referral statuses and assign those statuses to outbound referrals. Use the statuses to filter and create follow up lists. You gain better visibility of patient success as they route through specialists. In addition, you can filter the Referred to Doctor Report by referral status. |
Tie Patient Education to Clinical NotesDentrix Enterprise 11.0.2 now offers the ability to automatically copy patient education details into clinical notes, attaching it to an encounter number as needed. Set Up Recurring Payments for PatientsThe Patient Finances feature now integrates Payment Plans (formerly Payment Agreements) and Future Due Payment Plans into one module. This service-based scheduling allows you to automate charge creation and payment processing when using AxiaMed – helping eliminate the hassle of collecting outstanding balances after patients have left the office. |
Updating Outstanding ClaimsUsing the Outstanding Claims Manager in 11.0.2, you can now view and post write-offs for unpaid claims at the same time. Click on individual patient names to see claim data and make write-offs. Before closing all claims, see the total value of all write-offs as a quality check. |
Processing Family BalancesWhen you are ready to process family balances in 11.0.2, you can now filter by billing types, clinic, and date range to locate accounts with credit and charge balances. Using the new Family Balance Manager, you can save steps by posting write-offs directly from the list. |
Dentrix Enterprise PayDentrix Enterprise Pay, a new integrated payment solution available with Dentrix Enterprise 11.0.2, helps make it faster and easier for your team to get paid at the time of service – by eliminating double entry errors and simplifying voids and refunds. |
Edit Clinical Notes from the Signature ManagerWith Dentrix Enterprise 11.0 you can now edit or add information to an unsigned clinical note from the Signature Manager. You no longer have to open the corresponding patient’s record, open the Clinical Notes module, select the correct note page, make the necessary changes to the note, and then return to the Signature Manager to sign it. |
Create Family AlertsWhen creating a patient alert with Dentrix Enterprise 11.0, you can now specify that the alert is for the family. The family alert appears for the patient and any of that patient’s family members (as set up in the Family File). If a family alert has been set up to have a flag symbol appear on appointments, the symbol appears on appointments for all family members. |
Enter a Patient’s Health ConcernsYou can now enter, edit, and delete health concerns that a patient has expressed with Dentrix Enterprise 11.0. |
Enter Chart NotesWith 11.0 you can now enter a general note regarding a patient’s clinical chart directly in that patient’s Chart while performing work on that patient. The note will always be visible to anyone who opens that patient’s Chart. |
Edit Patient InformationIn the More Information window in 11.0, the patient’s name is now a link that you can click to open the Patient Information dialog box so that you can edit the patient’s information without having to open the patient’s Family File. |
View Patient MessagesWith 11.0 you can view a message from a patient (through the Updox portal), with the Add this information to my medical chart check box selected (this is a new option), and with or without attachments, on the new Patient Messages tab of the patient health exchange inbox or from the patient’s Medical Alerts window. |
View Birth Dates and Ages on AppointmentsWhen setting up a view in the Appointment Book with 11.0, you can now have the date of birth and age appear as one of the line items on each patient’s appointment. The patient’s birth date and age also appear on the pop-up message that appears when you position your pointer over an appointment. |
Generate the Patient ListWith 11.0 you can now save a set of filters and data fields as a template to quickly generate a list of patients that match that criteria. Also, you can now include patient tags and billing types as data fields of the generated list. |
