Dentrix Enterprise software has a simple mission: to empower dental offices to accomplish more and earn more. Dentrix Dental Systems was the first practice management system for Windows in 1989 and the first to be approved for Windows 98. Because of this deep, rich experience with the Windows operating system, our software is consistently the most compatible in the industry.
In the late 1990s, Dentrix Dental Systems tasked a team to develop a solution for the enterprise market. Starting with the existing architecture of the Dentrix Practice Management System, they converted it to a relational SQL database and added the features, functionality and data-interface capabilities required by the enterprise market. The new, more robust Dentrix Enterprise launched in 1999, becoming the go-to software solution for large organizations like multilocation dental group practices, hospitals, correctional facilities, educational and government institutions, and community health centers (FQHCs).
We started with a vision of a completely paperless office with Dentrix Enterprise. That early pioneering work, and our experience over the years, continues to pave the way as we develop innovative tools that boost practice productivity and improve overall efficiency.
