Scheduling

Scheduling in Dentrix Enterprise is simple to use, yet includes comprehensive features to maintain detailed information. You can view the Appointment Book for one office or combine the schedules of several offices into one view. Patients can be scheduled and providers can be shared between different locations. And a detailed transaction log lets you keep track of all appointment data.

Each appointment shows which staff member scheduleded the appointment and on what day. Appointments can be instantly labeled with alerts or special instructions, and broken appointments are easily tracked.

While scheduling in the Dentrix Enterprise Appointment Book is a snap, your staff will also be pleasantly surprised at its robust features designed to simplify the scheduling process, increase and maximize overall productivity, and improve the "dental office experience" for your patients. With a click of the mouse you can view the schedule for any number of providers at once or a combination of dental sites throughout your organization. A patient can be seen at any dental site on your network, regardless of primary registration site, and any provider on your team can be scheduled to treat patients at any dental site on any given day. Line Item Accounting

For a small private practice working with an “offsetting provider credits report,” Line Item Accounting may not be absolutely necessary. Staff can no longer over-pay a provider mistakenly. If a patient pre-pays for services yet to be rendered, such as a deposit on an implant, the provider will only get paid on the pre-payment when they start or complete the work. With Dentrix Enterprise, production is work performed, collections is funds deposited and revenue is collections applied to production.

Dentrix Enterprise constantly monitors the continuing care (recall) status of each patient, making sure each is scheduled for regular examinations and check-ups. Dentrix Enterprise lets you track 99 different recall types with personal motivational messages that encourage and explain why the patient should schedule an appointment. Recall dates are automatically updated as procedures are completed, patient-specific cards, letters, and lists can be created with point-and-click operation, and the Office Journal also automatically tracks this correspondence and alerts office staff of patients who need follow-up.
