Integrated Connection of Your Enterprise Environment
Dentrix Enterprise lets you generate reports by individual location, or consolidate
data by individual or grouped locations. There is only one patient chart, no matter
how many locations a patient visits. Digital x-rays and intra-oral images can be
viewed by all locations. Centralized control allows you to manage any asset, any
service, any information—from any location.

multiple communication options can accommodate your organization’s unique needs.
Dentrix Enterprise is a complete solution to bring your organization together with
a single database. Comprehensive practice analysis features and custom reports will
let you systematically review production and collections from a single office, from
a specific group, or from offices collectively.
Each practice in your group may operate independently, sharing practice information
stored on the central Dentrix Enterprise server. Also, data from each of your practices
is instantly available at the central office. All practices can be connected via
LAN, WAN, the Internet, or other dedicated connectivity options.
Centralized Billing
With Dentrix Enterprise you can have all billing functions handled at your central
office, including monthly statements, account collections, insurance claim submission
and insurance claim follow up. This allows staff at your dental locations to focus
on patient care. Procedures performed can be entered at the location level by the
front desk or the clinical staff. Payments for services rendered could then be collected
by your front desk staff at the location, while insurance checks and mailed-in payments,
could be handled by your centralized billing department. Dentrix Enterprise will
create deposit slips by location, and will also provide reports showing where revenue
was earned (e.g. money collected at Office A for procedures performed at Office
B will be on the Office A deposit slip but on the Office B revenue report).
Consistent Data Elements
Central controls allows all locations to have the same medical alert codes, the
same payment types (Visa, DentCharge), adjustment types (Courtesy Discount, NSF
Payment), appointment blue prints, appointment status codes, chart buttons, clinical
notes, procedure notes, fee types, and account types. You can decide on the best
system configuration for your locations.
Centralized Collections
As patients have only one account no matter how many locations they visit, they
have only one balance. A centralized collection function can reduce delinquent accounts.
A customized financial message/patient alert is available at all locations. With
one insurance maximum and one insurance deductible, no matter how many locations
a patient visits, you will more precisely know their insurance status, leading to
better collections.
Centralized Appointment Scheduling
Dentrix Enterprise gives you instant access to each practice’s appointment book,
including scheduled production. As with security rights and reporting rights, Dentrix
Enterprise appointment scheduling offers extensive security. You may give a user
the right to schedule only for their location, only for limited providers at their
location, or to multiple locations. You can select which clinics and which providers
a user may schedule. Even if a user cannot schedule in multiple clinics, they can
still view all upcoming appointments for a patient no matter where the patient is
scheduled. The option to confirm centrally is also included and can be accomplished
in person or via automated programs.
Centralized Reporting
Dentrix Enterprise provides powerful reporting features using Microsoft SQL Server,
an industry-standard, open database platform, from which any information can be
made available for reporting. Centralized reporting allows you to easily generate
reports based on provider and/or clinic. For example, you may want to see information
from one provider in all clinics, or a combined total of all providers in one, two,
or all clinics, allowing you to see how a provider is performing by clinic or how
each clinic is performing compared to others.
All of our reports are programmed in Crystal; which means you can even write your
own custom reports. These reports can be added to the more than 60 existing reports
in Dentrix Enterprise for scheduling, e-mailing, and archiving. Dentrix Enterprise
reports include a wide variety of reference reports, management reports, ledger
reports, analysis reports, and list reports.
