Henry Schein One strongly believes that listening to user feedback is critical to improving not only our products and services but how we deliver them to our customers. As such we are proud to announce an improvement to our Dentrix Enterprise product lifecycle management policy, aimed at delivering the highest quality products and more comprehensive support to you. To improve our responsiveness to customer needs, the Dentrix Enterprise development team is introducing an improved product release cadence which will provide customers longer maintenance of new versions and a better opportunity to plan for upgrading to the latest version. At the same you will take advantage of the newest customer valued features.
Note about Microsoft Server and SQL Server System Requirements
Dentrix Enterprise supports Windows Server and SQL Server versions that are in Microsoft mainstream support. More information on the Microsoft Lifecycle Policy can be found by clicking on the Information Page link. Plan accordingly to make sure your requirements are always on a version that is in MS mainstream support. To determine whether your Windows Server or SQL Server versions are in mainstream support, visit the Microsoft Lifecycle page.
For those customers planning to move to 11.0.48 in April 2024, Windows 2022 will be required to upgrade as Microsoft mainstream support for Server 2019 ends in January 2024. It is recommended that customers plan accordingly.
For new customers, or those in the process of transitioning to a newer version, we have a recommended upgrade path that will maximize continued support of the version until bug and critical fix support expires and you must upgrade to the latest version release.
